The Pin outs for the UC1147 CPU in the Uniden BC200XLT scanner. Note: means not, If a pin does not have a designation, its destination is given. Ex. Ground means the pin is designated Ground but to Ground means the pins was unlabeled but connected to ground. This info comes from my reading the schematic from the service manual sorry for any errors.

PINOUTS UC1147 CPU:

CL1 (Keypad) 33 !CS1
CL3 (Keypad) 34 !CS2
CL4 (Keypad) 35 to Ground
CL5 (Keypad) 36 to Ground
CL6 (Keypad) 37 to Ground
to VCC 38 to Ground
to VCC 39 to Ground
RW1 (Keypad) 40 to Ground
RW2 (Keypad) 41 !SKIP (to Ground via R(10k)
RW3 (Keypad) 42 to Ground
RW4 (Keypad) 43 RESET
to VCC 44 !TEST
to Ground 45 OSC1
to Ground 46 OSC2
to Ground via R(unknown) 47 Ground
!HLT 48 !BL
to Ground 49 SC
to Ground via R(unknown) 50 !800
to Ground via R(unknown) 51 !UHF (assumed)
to Ground 52 AIR

!RST 54 VLO
!C/D 55 n/c
!CS 56 SHIFT
VLC3 57 n/c
VCC 58 MUTE
!SCK 59 !P/OFF
SI 60 to VCC
SC 61 to VCC
PLLEN 62 to VCC
!EN1 63 LIGHT
!EN2 64 CL2 (assumed) (keypad)

R unknown values were not listed on the schematic or in the parts list. Assumed labels are based on the implications of other labels on the schematic. 15, 18, and 19 look like they could be interesting. And 41 should be interesting to people who don't want their scanner to skip certain frequency ranges. OSC1 and OSC2 are the feed in for the 400mhz oscillator. This oscillator can be replaced with a faster one to increase the scan/search speed but it will also decrease your light on time. And as far as keeping the light on all the time one could connect a switch to the light pin and a VCC. When off, it would function as normal. When on, the light would go on and off with the power. Watch out for short circuits if you do this. I fried a transistor on mine when I had a VCC to Ground short.

Happy Hacking
