It transmit between 144.00 MHz and 147.995 mHz only. Flashing display indicates unlock. To transmit from 130.00 MHz to 163.996 MHz, continue: STEP 04: Change step size to 5 KHz by pressing F and 3 and rotating dial knob one click to the left. Display reads 05. STEP 05: Press F and 9. Display reads 00.60. Change it to read 30.6350. The last two digits look like a tiny 50. It takes many turns of the dial knob to do this step. Pressing the function button while turning the knob will speed up the process by incrementing in 100 kHz steps. STEP 06: Change step size back to 10 by pressing F and 3 and rotating the dial knob one step to the right. Display reads 10. STEP 07: Press F and 0 8 Press 7. Display reads period. STEP 09: Press the numbers 3 0 6 3. STEP 10: Press *. Display reads 130.00 After modifying the radio, you may change the band limits. Example: Set limits to 148-169.995 MHz. STEP 11: Press F and 0 and press 7. STEP 12: Press the numbers 4 8 6 9 13. Press *. TX and RX range is now 148.00 MHz to 169.995 MHz. |
