Subject: Expanded RX For The ADI AT-200 From 130.00 MHz to 173.995 MHz Date: 06 Oct 1995 Step 01 - While pressing the Function button F, turn the radio on. Display will show all figures. Release the F button and it will read 145.00. Step 02 - Turn power off. Step 03 - Press 3 while turning power back on. Display will read 145.00 again. Step 04 - Press F and 3 the display will read 10 Change the Step to 05 by turning dial one click. Step 05 - Press F and 9 the display reads 00.60. We are now going to change it to 30.73 50. Step 06 - Press F button, rotate the dial knob about 10 clicks counter clockwise the display reads 30.60. Release the F button. Rotate the dial clockwise about 27 clicks until the display reads 30.73 50. Step 07 - Press F and 3 and change the Step back to 10. Step 08 - Press F and 0 the display reads 145.00. Step 09 - Press 7 the display reads period 10 and press the numbers 3 0 7 3. Step 10 - Press * the display reads 130.00. Step 11 - Press F and 9 the display reads 30.73[50]. Hold the F button and turn the dial counter clockwise about 30 clicks until display reads 00.73 50. Step 12 - Release F button turn dial CCW until it reads 00.60. Step 13 - Press * the display reads 130.00. Step 14 - Turn the radio off and then back on again. This restores the keyboard direct frequency entry feature. The modification is now complete. The radio will now RX from 130.00 MHz to 173.995 MHz and transmit from 144.00 MHz to 147.995 MHz. Use the F and MHz buttons to make large frequency changes. |
